The Plant Recruiter is responsible for assisting with the recruitment of all hourly production, quality and warehouse positions. The Plant Recruiter is responsible for assisting with the full cycle recruiting, including the onboarding and orientation of new hires. The Plant Recruiter responsibilities include conducting initial screenings, scheduling interviews, and assisting the other Recruiters.
Recruiting:
- Assists our search of top talent for our entry-level positions in production, quality and warehousing.
- Recruits active and passive candidates from various resources, including campus activities, Internet job boards, social media and employee referrals.
- Assists location in the hiring process for open positions, including interviewing and screening applicants both over the phone and in person.
- Participates in job fairs, presentations and various on-campus/local community recruiting activities as needed.
- Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all candidate communications.
- Follows up on interviewees, including making offers to those selected for hire.
- Monitors and apply HR recruiting best practices.
- Maintains Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Assists with temporary agency conversion process
Onboarding:
- Sends invitations to complete paperwork, including applications, onboarding, and I-9.
- Sends invitations to complete background checks.
- Assists new hires in completing paperwork if needed.
- Enters new hires into Kronos for time keeping.
- Enters new employees into HRIS Assigns master schedule to new employees.
- Enters and verifies new hire I-9 documentation.
Orientation:
- Assists with weekly orientations using company provided Powerpoint presentation.
- Reviews attendance policy, GMPs, employee handbook, and benefit information.
- Conducts facility tours for all new hires.
- Assigns lockers and fob keys.
- Enrolls and trains new hires in the timekeeping system.
- Creates new hire employee files
General Responsibilities:
- Follow the facility GMPs and help enforce them throughout the facility.
- Support the efforts of the company to maintain our food safety system (SQF) and quality programs.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Office Applications; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- At least 6 months of HR/office/customer service experience
- Proficient in Google DriveStrong written and verbal communication skills
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is desired
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Detail oriented with a focus on quality results/deliverables
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high caliber and dynamic environment
- Good organizational skills and time management are a must
