Job description
Position Summary:
For this position, you will work with our team to actively service and manage new and current retirement plan relationships. This is both a sales and customer service position. The ideal candidate will have the requisite experience and/or education to know how to perform retirement plan services in both a supportive and client facing role. The ideal candidate must be able to operate independently and balance their efforts between developing new business and servicing current retirement plans. A proven track record of offering best practice fiduciary guidance and exceptional client service to retirement plan sponsors.
Responsibilities:
- Retain and grow retirement plan business by establishing/developing relationships with current and prospective clients. Partner with team members to deliver other Strategies Wealth Advisors (SWA) services to current clients and prospects.
- Serve as day-to-day contact for institutional retirement plan advisory clients, across various client segments - responsibilities include, but are not limited to: (1) fiduciary and regulatory oversight for assigned plans; (2) coordination/execution of fiduciary governance meetings with investment committee and plan trustees; (3) implementation/execution of investment policy statement; (4) documentation of process/decisions/meetings and timely execution of approved changes; (5) periodic review of retirement plan goals and plan design; (6) coordinate and assist with employee education needs and meetings; and (7) ongoing client service.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional network associations, and applying best practices to clients and prospects.
- Appropriately identify business opportunities and best-fit solutions for existing and prospective advisory clients.
- Meet with plan sponsors and plan participants. Be available to help direct them to available resources and to address questions.

Compensation
- Base salary

Qualifications/Industry Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, in accounting, finance or economics preferred
- 5-10 years' experience in qualified plan sales and service
- Knowledge of and interest in retirement, advisory, and compliance services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Diligent follow-up skills
- Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Warm, friendly personality with the ability to connect with people
- A willing attitude with a "no job is beneath me" approach
- Independent and autonomous with a "get it done" mindset
- Proficiency with financial and investment planning applications such as fi360, eMoney, Tamarac, Advyzon and RPAG
- Currently have or in the process of a achieving the AIF and/or CFP® designation
- Clean U-4 and U-5 history

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
