Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate F,P&A
The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A will be primarily responsible for preparing monthly management reporting, planning and forecasting corporate operating expenses and capital expenditures, managing the capital expenditures process / system and overall finance support for Global Quality and Operations Services (GQOS) function.
The position will interface with all corporate functions and business units.
About The Job
Management Reporting and Analysis
- The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing monthly reporting and communicating to management, inclusive of cost center variance analysis and financial performance presentation materials.
- Work directly with corporate functions (primarily GQOS function) to understand costs and cost variances and manage cost centers in BPC/SAP
- Provide timely analysis of financial performance with appropriate variance analysis identifying key drivers for deviations against plan, forecast and prior periods
- Improve utilization of tools and systems to drive efficiency and improve business insights
- Support the corporate GQOS function and local finance sites in the preparation of the annual plan and quarterly forecasts
- Manage the process of loading, validating and consolidating all costs
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in the data preparation, collection and reporting process
- Manage and oversee the capital expenditures process / system including the loading, validating and consolidating of data for monthly / quarterly reporting,
- Oversee quarterly forecast and annual budget for capital expenditures by working closely with business/finance partners
- Drive continuous process improvement and automation in capital expenditure process and reporting
- Prepare, various on-going reporting and analysis to the corporate GQOS management and supporting functions.
- Develop and maintain a business support relationship with the supported corporate functions and business partners
- Perform other ad-hoc reporting and analysis required by management
- Perform other projects required by management (e.g., assist with continuous improvement projects)
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and/or business finance support
- Exhibits a high level of autonomy as demonstrated via independent decision-making, prioritizing own workload and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work/interact with and present to all levels of organization
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills with strong orientation for details
- Exhibits a high level of autonomy as demonstrated via independent decision-making, prioritizing own workload and project management skills
- Experience in using ERP systems is required, BPC and/or SAP (FICO,BW) is a plus
- Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred
- Advance MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
