It's the perfect time for a seasoned Vice President of Business Development to help take this innovative business to the next level of success. If you are a driven, self-starter with significant experience in selling at the C-suite level and you are well connected in the corporate and college/university arena, this opportunity could be a game changer for you.

Our perfect candidate will...

  • Develop new business opportunities through networking, generated leads, existing clients and prospecting
  • Sell all core offerings to key decision makers in corporations and higher education institutions
  • Sit at the table of the C-suite and other executives selling our offerings while giving guidance and strategic input on how to deliver events that exceed top-level goals
  • Collaborate with team members to help convert prospects into long-term customers
  • Leverage your network to uncover new opportunities for business
  • Produce sales proposals and pitches
  • Attend industry events as needed
  • Travel to call on prospects and current customers to solicit new business
  • Drive activities to help achieve target sales and revenue goals
  • Eventually build a team of like-minded go-getters who have connections that are looking for superior event management
  • Travel 25%-45%


This is what we need you to have:
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Have a track record of selling to senior-level executives and networking within the corporate and higher education markets
  • Basic understanding of the event industry
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Strong organization skills
  • Collaborative and team player
  • Proven ability to develop new business using established and new networks
  • Appreciation of the culture of a family-run business and the skills needed to succeed
  • Self-starter and motivated to deliver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Driven disposition with tenacity to exceed expectations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
