The Vice President, Enterprise Program & Portfolio Management will be responsible for developing and leading our Enterprise program management office with the objective of prioritizing and optimizing the work intake demand management and delivery execution practice.
You will lead a diverse team of project managers who are passionate about making Link the world leader in Industrial Real Estate management. With high business growth every year, you will lead the team to scale and develop solutions that accelerate achieving business plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruit, hire, and mentor an exceptional team of Project Managers to deliver process, change management, and technology projects across and within each line of business.
Develop and manage a program management practice including the applications required for project and portfolio execution.
Stay abreast of technological advances, features, and functions of enterprise project management tools (i.e. work intake, demand planning & forecasting; project management).
Develop audience-appropriate communications to inform and educate various groups on purpose and outcomes of projects, including preparation of presentation materials for Steering Committee, Executive Leadership and management groups.
Plan for future staffing needs and implement policies and procedures for the allocation of staff to projects.
Work with various groups to develop the financial model for projects with detailed costs and benefits.
Create deliverables that can be used to obtain cost justification approval for a project.
Implement policies, processes, procedures, technical standards, testing and all methods for the successful delivery of all programs and projects.
Regularly interact with management and leads on project status, priority setting, and resource allocations, as well as department-wide efforts or policy-level decisions
Work with Management and key stakeholders to prioritize projects and/or ensure consistency with corporate strategy and goals.
Coordinate assignment of project managers and/or other resources to projects.
Ensure business case, project charter, goals, scope, expected benefits, staffing, funding and project milestones are clearly defined and agreed to prior to project launch.
Mediate conflicts and proactively manage risks and issues.
Develop and monitor plan for benefits realization.
Assemble and monitor annual budget requirements for current / future projects.
Participate as a member of the senior leadership team and advisory committees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year accredited university / college.
10+ years of experience managing, supporting, and delivering complex projects.
5+ years of experience managing Project Management teams at scale.
Demonstrated ability to formulate data driven decisions that lead to results.
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects.
Demonstrated ability to build high performing teams.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Travel may be required.
