Job Description
- The main function of an Business Analyst is to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formation, or other managerial functions. A typical Business Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing data and developing decision support software.
- Formulate mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives and their numerical parameters.
- Analyze information obtained from management to conceptualize and define operational problems.
- Perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary.
- Define data requirements and gather and validate information, applying judgment and statistical tests.
- Support is needed to do analyze how decisions and directions affect team members across the organization, to make specific recommendations, and to present information in support of the goals of Pharmacy & Retail Operations and the Company.
- Should have excellent presenting and communication skills, as well as the ability to create communication plans, develop communications using Microsoft Word, create presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, analyze and visualize data within Microsoft Excel, including using pivot tables for reporting.
- Will be required to collaborate across Pharmacy & Retail Operations, IT, legal and regulatory, process improvement teams, and others, to develop operational solutions.
- Communicates relevant project information to stakeholders, both in the support center and in the field.
- 2 business analyst, team within Client retail hub, liaison team, that liaisons between stores, field centers, voice of the field, any of the HR organizations operational experts, help operationalize, helps support segment of the COVID work streams, as far a state lean in on covid space connected to the team member.
- Working with procurement, legal etc. to determine what vendors we will be using to see what program we will work to upload vaccine cards.
- Sourcing 3 vendors, questions from store managers on an operational side, to support those questions, building out the operational playbook to create content, building out roles & responsibilities, building out PowerPoint decks, funding for the vendor.
- Analysis on excel , where we have most need for pharmacists, analysis on data to build business case for extra funding for Covid projects, can be helping with other projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, statistics, mathematics or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
- 2-4 years experience required
- Experience in operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, or data modeling
- Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Excel Pivot tables, VLOOKUP's PowerPoint creation MS Teams , Outlook
- 0-2 years of experience
- Bachelors degree, business background
