Your profile

• Academic degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or comparable
• Several years of experience in the context of conformity assessment and document review, e.g. for machinery or pressure equipment directives. Initial experience in high-voltage system construction
• Ability to communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken. Ideally you can communicate in German as well
• Systematic way of working which is characterized by your ability to analyze and structure
• Ideally trained as "authorized person for the compilation of conformity-relevant documentation", preferably also as "safety engineer acc. to ISO 61508 or equivalent
• Profound knowledge of HAZOP- and HAZID-Studies as well as BowTie
• Good understanding of risk and responsibility with regard to personal, environmental and plant protection

Your responsibilities

• Identify conformity specifics in tendering stage and clarify with stakeholders
• Adapt conformity assessment process before the start of the project and represents the unconventional aspects at the kick-off
• Ensure that the supplier's part of this documentation is taken into account when ordering components
• Check and approve the conformity documentation produced
• Compile the relevant overall documentation and presents it to the technical project management as a basis for a conformity statement
• Continuous learning: Expand the supporting standard documentation in the course of the project and e.g. at the end with regard to new findings and corrects errors
