Basic Overview of Role and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the below functions.
* _Manage the clients experience to ensure consistent satisfaction. _
* _Identify business opportunities by prospecting and conducting research._
* _Design and execute cold calling campaigns, email campaigns, and drip marketing campaigns to facilitate prospective client appointments for yourself._
* _Utilize and keep updated a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system_
* _Foster and maintain relationships with clients by serving as a source of information, designing improvements/solutions for their business needs, and providing guidance._
* _Collaborate with the operations team to create unique solutions to prospect and client problems._
* _Identify service/product improvements by monitoring industry trends and engaging in discussions with clients._
* _Develop and sustain professional skills, technical knowledge and industry news by reviewing industry publications, attending workshops, and participating in training and ongoing education._
* _Distinguish the most effective ways of reaching potential clients and moving them toward an appointment of becoming a client. _
* _Design and give presentations to prospects and clients on market information, rates, company information, and proposed solutions._
* _Attend meetings with prospects and clients to educate them about yourself, the company, our offerings, and our solutions._
* _Attend networking events regularly._
* _Manage your pipeline to ensure consistent growth._
* _Focus on growth and customer satisfaction_

Experience of an Ideal Candidate:
In addition to the above, all candidates must meet the below minimum requirements:
* _Bachelors degree or higher_
It is preferred, but not required, that candidates have the following:
* _Bachelors degree in a business discipline_
* _Related professional experience in domestic logistics, international logistics, customs brokerage, procurement, or supply chain_
* _Professional experience in a sales function_
* _Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software_
