Molex is looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Human Resources team as an HR Coordinator in our Chicagoland team. The HR Coordinator will provide hands-on support to our employees, leaders, and HR team members across a broad range of HR matters. The role is critical in executing our talent initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR operational excellence and process improvement. The position provides a great opportunity for an individual looking to grow their exposure and experience across different parts of human resources and work with HR professionals spanning multiple areas, specifically, our Consumer and Commercial Solutions and Sales and Marketing teams.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Provide HR team support including coordinating meetings and agendas, organizing workshop files, resources and content, maintaining group distribution lists and creating and distributing communications, coordinating training sessions and workshops, maintaining SharePoint and Teams sites, handling invoices and processing payments from third party vendors, etc.
- Maintain strong understanding of company policies, guidelines, and general HR processes and practices
- Research issues, assess risk (and possible impacts), identify alternatives, and present findings and potential solutions to address people-related problems and opportunities
- Track data, run routine and ad hoc reports, build an actionable POV from data
- Manage myHR (Koch's HCM system) data updates and provide self-serve support and guidance for managers and employees
- Manage relationships with third party vendors for our Fleet Vehicle program (Enterprise), and contingent labor needs (Adecco, Pridestaff, Integrity staffing, etc.)
- Recruiting support for Direct Labor roles for our manufacturing site, Molex Busbar (posting requisitions, working to help schedule interviews, screening candidates, recruiting system management, new employee onboarding)
- Support leave of absence administration (FMLA, Paid Parental Leave, etc.)
- Maintain records, including filing, retrieval, general organization, and RIM compliance
- Opportunity to get involved in special project work supporting key HR priorities and initiatives, including Talent Management & Succession Planning, Leadership Development, Performance Management & Coaching, DE&I and Change Management
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years' experience in HR related role or an executive administrative support capacity and/or relevant HR or organizational development certifications/coursework
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (including working knowledge of pivot tables in Excel)
- Relevant HR, administrative support, or project management-type experience
- Minimum 1 years' experience in HR or an executive administrative support capacity
- Experience with an HRIS or similar database (i.e., Infor HCM, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, etc.)
- Knowledge of HR and Employment law
- Experience managing and/or serving as the single point of contact for third party vendors in the space of benefits management, fleet management, and/or contingent labor/professional staffing services
- Fluent in Spanish
