Responsibilities:
Senior Business Analyst performs tasks that relate to the support of the Operations function within Berkley Program Specialists.

Development of data requirements for the purpose of collecting data from internal and external sources.

Prepare analytical reports that support the Operation and Underwriting functions.

Work with staff from other departments as necessary to collect and summarize data for reporting.

Assist in maintaining and organizing database data to ensure efficient and effective data retrieval and reporting.

Routinely review data to maintain proper data structure and accuracy.

Assist in the development of data reports and structures for statistical ISO/PCI statutory reporting.

Development of monthly, quarterly and annual reports, including data calls for state reporting agencies.

Provide guidance for the onboarding of new programs.

Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in technical fields such as mathematics, analytics, computer science.

10 years of experience within Commercial Insurance statistical reporting and operations functions.

Working knowledge of process mapping, process improvement and project management is beneficial.

Working knowledge of ISO's Commercial Lines Manuals (CLM) and work experience within Insurance Operations is desirable.

Understanding the correlation between underwriting, coverage forms, rating and statistical reporting.

Advanced MS Office knowledge, including SQL or Access.

Excellent working knowledge of commercial insurance transaction coding and rating.

Knowledge of state filings requirements is beneficial.

Advanced problem-solving skills.

Strong analytical skills, using a combination of tools.

Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Strong communication, organization, and planning skills.
