Prairie State Bank & Trust, a locally owned $800 million bank with 20 offices in Central Illinois, is looking for an experienced Commercial Lender at our Savoy, Illinois location, as the bank continues to expand its presence in the Champaign-Urbana area. We are a well-established and high performing "5 Star" community bank (rated by Bauer Financial) looking for talented and hardworking individuals who are looking to continue their career with a growing company. We are seeking top performing candidates who are motivated to succeed, have great communication skills and a passion for working on a team.

Five+ years of commercial lending experience is required. Agricultural lending experience is a plus. Prairie State Bank & Trust proudly promotes our top performers from within and this position will see several executive management opportunities come available throughout the company in the next 3 to 10 years. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Key Qualifications:

· Responsible for the growth and development of core loan and deposit relationships with a heavy emphasis on outbound loan relationship development.

· Delivery of exceptional customer service, including extensive knowledge and first-hand experience with the bank's products and services.

· Commitment to being an exceptional team player in the branch and companywide, promoting and fostering a positive working environment.

· Strong support of and involvement in the community.

· Resolved to continuously learn and evolve in a regulated industry.

Key Requirements:

· Must have 5 years' experience in Commercial Lending and portfolio management.

· Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Agribusiness or other business related fields is preferred but not required.

· Must reside within 30 miles of Champaign-Urbana.
