**Description:**

Looking for a maintenance mechanic who will be able to maintain and troubleshoot the mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on overhead cranes, bar machinery and wire drawing machines.

You will spend 50% of their day working on replacing old mechanical equipment (gauges, gears, motors, drives, pulleys) and 50% of your day will be spent fabricating and welding sheet metal for different parts of the company.

MIG, TIG, and Stick welding and fabrication will be needed in this role.

**1st at 6am-3pm with overtime if needed on the weekends**

Union environment (Local 731) $100 initiation that is spread out over 4-6 weeks depending on your preference. 2nd Friday of the month their fees are due and there is a $4/mo monthly rate.

Will be brought on perm after 30 days and transition into the Union.

**Work Environment**

Family owned company that has been running for over 70 years. There are 100 people at the facility and 65 of them have been with the company over 15 years. They are looking for someone who can join their team and become part of the family!

You will be working on a maintenance team of 5 people and only 2-3 people will be on each shift. They will be outsourcing most of their electrical work as it does not come around that often.

Steel toed boots, safetly glasses, and hard hats will be required while on the floor

PPE's are required :hard hat, safety glasses, and ear plugs.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

**MUST HAVE:**

- 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment

-Experience replacing and maintaining gauges, shafts, gears, pulleys, and working with AC/DC motors

-Must be able to work off a blueprint and diagrams to maintain equipment

-Must have experience working on mechanical and pneumatic systems

***MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE FABRICATING SHEET METAL AND WELDING (MIG AND TIG)

**NICE TO HAVE:**

-Electrical knowledge (working with servo drives, AC/DC Motors, 480V)

-Nice to have maintenance experience on wire drawing machinery, overhead cranes, or bar machinery.
