Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Task Manager with a background as a Geologist, Environmental Scientist, or Environmental Engineer to join our St. Louis, MO team. Position requires strict adherence to health and safety procedures, attention to detail, solid work ethic, and a passion for high quality workmanship. The candidate would be reporting daily to a project site in Wood River, IL.

This is a position for a dynamic individual looking for career growth in environmental consulting and the environmental remediation market.

Role accountabilities:

  • Writing and preparation of reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda
  • Preparing cost estimates
  • Data management (compilation, manipulation, and evaluation of data)
  • Conducting project related research (historic data, regulations, etc.)
  • Conducting alternatives analysis
  • Preparing periodic status/program reports
  • Contacting regulatory and municipal agencies and subcontractors/vendors to coordinate field activities and obtain project-related information
  • Installation of soil borings and groundwater monitoring wells
  • Soil and groundwater sampling per EPA Methods
  • Coordination and overseeing of subcontractors
  • Assist in Treatment system Operation and Maintenance Site Inspections Soil characterization
Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous expereince in environmental consulting
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER (8-hour annual refresher if applicable)
