PURPOSE:
Responsibilities include assisting the Treasurer and Senior Treasury Analyst with global cash management, daily bank reporting, internal controls, treasury analytics & related reporting, and cash forecasting. Debt oversight including debt service, compliance, and related liquidity initiatives. Working capital initiatives, treasury operations projects, assisting with bank relationship management, cash accounting, short-term investing and payments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Prepares and distributes daily global cash position and borrowing availability reports to management
- Perform daily review and documentation of bank balances, loan balances, and transaction activity, ensuring control over cash assets
- Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc treasury reports
- Assists with ongoing forecasting process and other cash management activities, anticipating short-term borrowing needs and ensuring liquidity across the organization
· Supports integration projects related to European treasury center and acquired companies
- Monitors and prepares documentation for loan covenant compliance
- Assists with assessing and implementing solutions for interest rate risk and currency risk, including ongoing management of settlements, MTM reporting, etc.
- Prepares interest expense journal entries and accruals for review and approval by the Treasurer and Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis.
- Works with Treasurer to review and manage intercompany funding requirements
- Provides assistance to Accounting when support is needed to reconcile bank accounts, record Treasury transactions, etc.
- Assists in the development of bank relationship management
- Helps implement strategies to maximize efficiencies in treasury operations, safeguard assets and minimize costs
- Ensures compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures including all SOX requirements, semi-annual bank account review, and other treasury controls
- Assists with banking matters for the business units and other corporate functional areas.
- Assists with implementation of global cash management strategy, including treasury workstation, bank software or other treasury technology
- Tracks and provides oversight of bank account analysis fees
- Assists with preparing regulatory reporting- Dodd Frank, SOX, etc.
- Potential for "hybrid" schedule with some flexibility for remote work
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, management, or finance required
- 1-3 years in treasury, finance or accounting with cash management experience preferred
- Excellent MS Office skills required: Excel, Power Point, Word
- Treasury workstation and bank cash management system experience a plus
