Position Summary:
Position will support and collaborate with HR Manager as well as key business partners and assist in the interpretation and administration of HR policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Manage HR processes for assigned client groups.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees from an HR perspective.
- Manage input of data into HR system
- Provide end users with reports and metrics as requested.
- Manage unemployment claims, FMLA and ADA leaves.
- Consult with leadership on various employee relations issues pertaining to performance, conduct, compensation, staffing, etc.
- Support client groups in workforce planning and recruitment.
- Attend appropriate staff meetings and other departmental meetings as a member of the client group leadership team.
Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices and systems
- Working knowledge of benefits, compensation, staffing process, and employment law
- Working knowledge and familiarity with HR systems critical
- Experience with FMLA and ADA.
- Experience with unemployment very helpful
- Strong emotional intelligence
Experience:
2+ years of experience in human resources.
- Co-op, internship, or fellowship experience acceptable.
- Experience with SAP, a plus

- Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations or related discipline
- Human Resources or Business preferred
