Indianapolis based laboratory is hiring an Analytical Lab Tech;

Direct Hire - with benefits

Perform laboratory analysis related to quality assurance of finished product, raw materials, and in-process materials.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for performing quality testing on finished product, raw materials, and in process materials.

Testing will include but not limited to metal assay, density, pH, particle size analysis, chloride, soluble metal etc.

Will be responsible for maintaining records, samples, and calibration records in accordance with quality assurance program.

Good computer and communication skills are a plus.

Basic understanding of chemistry and math skills.

Ability to help trouble shoot chemistry related problems in the plant. Implement all health, safety, environmental and quality related procedures in respective area.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Chemistry degree preferred.

Experience: 1 year of related experience preferred.

Knowledge and Abilities: ability to wear personal protective equipment,
