Job description

We have been retained by an Am Law 200 firm to recruit an Attorney Recruiting Manager to manage the daily attorney recruiting operations for the Firm by attracting, recruiting, and retaining highly talented and diverse attorney candidates to meet the current and future business needs of the firm. This position will report to the Director of Attorney Recruiting and may be located in any of their offices (with a preference for Chicago, Indianapolis, or Columbus).

The firm is seeking a strong leader who has a track record of identifying recruiting needs and developing and implementing creative hiring initiatives that have proven to differentiate a firm/company from its competitors. The Manager will be charged with the development and implementation of the firm's law school recruiting strategy and management of law school relations and summer associate hiring programs.

The successful individual will exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail and be known for delivering timely, accurate results while consistently cultivating strong relationships. An exceptional leader and role model, the successful candidate will be a highly effective communicator with a demonstrated ability to establish credibility, build trust, and influence and gain the confidence of firm leadership, lawyers, other professionals, and their team.

This position requires a bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of independently managing recruiting processes, preferably in a law firm. Ideal candidates will also have prior experience directly managing people. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the ongoing strategic priorities of the firm.
