1. Prioritize and track workloads and/or special projects on daily basis.

2. Database resulting of data, checking of paperwork, equipment and processes

3. Assists technical staff with scanning of slides and associated documentation and emails

4. Perfom QC and maintenance of equipment and ensure QC logs are documented

5. Expert in sample handling, and preparing appropriate worksheets

6. Scans all samples in SMART tracking system for audit trail of samples

7. Tracks and removes sample holds, sample issues and issue resolution in timely manner and documents accordingly.

8. Assists with ensuring turnaround time is met

9. Notifies management of any workflow changes such as large batches or special projects so workflows can be adjusted.

10. May be required to work on Saturdays and overtime as needed

11. Assist in digital pathology data entry, QC and slide scanning.

Education/Qualifications:

Prefer Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or life sciences

Required: Associates degree

Experience:

Experience working in lab environment helpful.

Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks and deadlines effectively

Excellent documentation skills

Experience with MSWord, Excel, Powerpoint

Attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality and communication
