The Financial Advisor at Centra Credit Union serves the financial needs of Centra Members and Non-Members in developing relationships and providing guidance that align with their investment needs.

Job Requirements:
Are you looking for a rewarding career in a well-established financial institution? Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Advisor. This position will be office from one of Centra's Indiana locations and serve the surrounding communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES for this position include:

• Cultivates strong working relationships with credit union staff and members along with other key local people in the credit union movement and communities.
• Presents a professional image from a personal and professional level that will be a credit to CFS and Centra.
• Demonstrates consistent activity and productivity in the credit union environment through use of the MFS marketing systems and CFS marketing programs.
• Fulfills the pre-established production standards through the sale of life, health, annuity and investment products.
• Completes and submits reports to the CFS President and attends staff training and seminars.
• Provides service and support, maintains files and updates records on all Members who have participated in the program.
• Collects and analyzes information regarding the Member's income, assets, investments or debts and determines which financial products best meet the Member's needs and financial circumstances. Advises Members regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products.
• Markets, services and promotes CUSO and credit union financial products.

QUALIFICATIONS for this position requires skills, education/ training and experience in the following areas:

• Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferred
• Three to five years related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Life/Health Insurance License
• Series 7 and Series 66 License
• Long-Term Care Certification
• Certified Financial Planner Designation, or ability to obtain, is preferred
