Warehouse Yard Attendant- Weekend Shift
NEW STARTING WAGES & $3,000 BONUS!
Weekend Shift: Sunday-Monday 6AM-6:30PM --Work 36 hours-get paid for 40 hours
$18.30 per hour plus additional $2 per hour for weekend pay
$3,000 BONUS- $1,500 paid at 90 days and $1,500 paid at 180 days
Lozier is piloting a new work shift in its Middlebury plant. 25 people are needed to fill and launch the new weekend part-time and full-time shifts, detailed below. Submit your application to be considered. Note: Work on another shift will be established if the weekend shift is not sustained.
The Yard Attendant will have a variety of responsibilities to:
- Drive shag truck; pull and back trailers. Must be able to spot the correct trailers in the correct docks.
- Move trailers containing freight throughout the distribution center lot and in and out of the docks
- Conduct daily inspection of truck, identify, and report mechanical issues with equipment
- Deliver and pickup freight from docks as needed
- Monitor truck parking lot
- Work as Shipper/Receiver during down time
- Safely operate shag truck on the company property, obeying all traffic laws
- Maintain required safety and ergonomic processes to insure a safe working environment and meet company goal of an injury free workplace.
- Must be able to follow directions.
- Maintain truck cleanliness and track truck maintenance as needed.
- Understand and perform inspections of equipment as required.
- Communicate issues with vendor trailers that are not working correctly.
