Description:
Responsibilities Creates production schedules, ensures relevant staff receives the schedules and that they are followed, and records the output into the correct system. Monitors and manages activities in support of the Production Plan. Analyzes, plans, and controls inventory levels, schedules, and allocations of raw materials up through manufacturing to meet production and product development requirements, and inventory goals. Actively monitors and adjusts production plans to meet customer demand across the supply chain and optimize resource utilization in production. Oversees shortage reports and manages the associated Manufacturing Order requirements, including but not limited to: Expedites (Hot Dates), planned delays, cancellations, and other reasonable changes supporting the business. Proactively alert management of potential supply chain risks. Helps in risk mitigation planning including material supply disruption/resolutions and customer promise dates. Liaises between customers, Customer Service, and Purchasing pertaining to product demand and the scheduling of purchases.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in business, operations, or supply chain preferred. An Associate's Degree is acceptable if combined with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing planning experience. Working knowledge of ERP/MRP principles and materials management. Proficient in working with an AS400 ERP System (MAC-PAC). Proficient in writing/running ERP Queries. High level of expertise in MS Office Suite - especially MS Excel, reports, graphs, & macros. Strong working knowledge of production planning and control, capacity management methods. Ability to work with, and across, multiple functions, including but not limited to: Engineering, Production, Materials, Purchasing, and Order Entry. Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Knowledge/experience with production schedules, Master Data, and Kanban.
