The Director works under the direction of Public Relations and Creative Marketing leadership and directs the functions related to the digital content and digital front-end and back end development while partnering with internal stakeholders to achieve the company's objectives.

Essential Duties

  • Serve as the lead strategist helping internal departments and creative teams formulate, recommend, and implement innovative and effective digital strategies and solutions for the firm and the overall digital experience we deliver and envision
  • Lead, shape, and expand strategy and tactical planning initiatives across the firm related to both digital and traditional marketing for all audience mentioned above
  • Collaborate closely with public relations, paid media, marketing, communications, creative, technology, events, and internal business teams including but not limited to IT, compliance, operations, etc. to
  • Lead digital marketing campaigns to help achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly lead generation goals.
  • Increase brand awareness and positioning through digital platforms
  • Monitor and understand relevant digital metrics aligned with firm goals and competitive positioning
  • Drive engagement through digital marketing content, design and strategies
  • Enhance digital brand awareness
  • Drive and build brand ambassadors both internally and externally
  • Directly oversee and mentor digital team and partner with internal and external digital front-end developers focused on UX and UI while observing the firm's digital experience strategies and goals
  • Seek out different ways to use current and relevant technological advances.
  • Analyze marketplace trends - economic, social, cultural, and technological - to identify opportunities and create value propositions to keep up with, and stay ahead of, new developments and ideas.
  • Offer a comprehensive perspective in stakeholder discussions and when shaping solutions/recommendations, and take ownership for developing and enhancing a digital experience focused on what is best for stakeholders while proactively managing stakeholders to create positive outcomes for all parties
  • Format digital assets, creating CSS, XHTML/HTML, and QA of digital design projects as required
  • Demonstrate expertise regarding Adobe Experience Manager (Adobe AEM) as a content management and digital design experience system, as well Adobe Campaign as a comprehensive solution for managing dynamic inbound-outbound campaigns
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe AEM, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe Campaign Standard, and SEO preferred.
  • Develop and capture all data and analytics for all marketing campaigns and channels and use that information to enhance marketing efforts
  • Ensure maintenance of accurate records and document actions for area(s) managed
  • Interface within the company in a professional and courteous manner to achieve the Company's common goals and ensure communication of those goals and statuses to all necessary parties


Education & Experience

  • Five or more years of related experience, education and/or training.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe AEM, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe Campaign Standard, and SEO preferred.


Certificates & Licenses

  • This job requires obtaining a FINRA Series 99 license within the first 12 months in order to complete job responsibilities. Cambridge will provide financial and educational support towards obtaining required license(s) including paid study time, training courses, study materials and online resources.
  • Adobe certification a plus.


This position can be located in Fairfield, IA or Phoenix, AZ.
