The Position
Home Lending has an exciting opportunity for a Change Management Leader who will be responsible for leading end-to-end change management functions across technology and business change. The leader will be accountable for partnering with various Home Lending and enterprise leaders to oversee and improve change management processes, procedures, and change governance to ensure that all business and technology changes occur with the highest levels of accuracy, transparency, control, and communication. The leader will oversee various change management and change functions that support or manage critical change capabilities including end-to-end-change governance, change selection, change prioritization, change control, key artifact governance, change testing and validation, change implementation, change readiness & communication, training, and post change validation. The leader will also partner with Consumer Lending, Enterprise Change Management, and enterprise risk partners to integrate change management into important Enterprise Change Management and risk management governance frameworks so that Home Lending changes are managed within a broader change and risk management governance framework across Wells Fargo.
The role will ensure successful implementation planning, solution preparation, delivery, and measurement of highly complex and strategic initiatives impacting multiple lines of business which typically have enterprise-wide impact and substantial cost or which result in significant and long-range changes to team members, managers or lines of business. Establishes protocol and standards for implementation planning and processes across all lines of business. Typically participates in corporate wide standardization efforts. Establishes strategic implementation plans with managers and executive sponsors that coordinate change activities, creatively solve problems, and monitor sustained change to internal team members.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for facilitating, managing, assessing, and improving end-to-end change governance with all Home Lending and Enterprise stakeholders.
  • Lead team members who support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company.
  • Responsible for senior-level leadership of cross functional teams to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity and risk. The programs typically have LOB-wide impact, or may have enterprise-wide impact.
  • Accountable to provide oversight, transparency and reporting to change risks and risks associated with change performance.
  • Responsible for proactively identifying potential risks when implementing change, along with developing a mitigation strategy and plan. Examples might include, but are not limited to: process improvement and redesign, significant change management initiatives, or ongoing oversight of an enterprise/LOB-wide program.
  • Drives the integration and implementation of programs and initiatives by leveraging relationships with functional business partners; able to manage and prioritize competing strategies, and adjusting as necessary.
  • Works with functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict and ensure alignment with WF strategy/policies and business line objectives.
  • Ensures the team has developed metrics and tracks/evaluates performance of programs, services and initiatives.
  • Ensures plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations.
  • Manages a set of teams across change management functions to accomplish the work.

Base salary range for this role is:
  • Min: $122,500
  • Mid: $175,000
  • Max: $227,500
Compensation package may include a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights, or other long-term incentives.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of implementation experience, business process experience, or a combination of both
  • 8+ years of management experience
