The position is part of the Banking, Lending, & Trust (BL&T) division of WIM. BL&T is a client-centric, channel-agnostic center of expertise designed to:

  • Shorten the distance between the client ask and the product or service delivery,
  • Provide access to our highly-credentialed specialists for all of our clients through geographically disbursed but centrally managed teams,
  • Create a more consistent advisor and client experience and help grow business across WIM, and
  • Deliver best in class product and service offerings to all client segments.

The Position

This position is within BL&T Core Banking's group that has responsibility for bank deposit solutions for WIM clients and Wealth Management Banking.

The Product Manager 4 is responsible for full life-cycle product management. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer insights and requirements; shaping the product vision, business case, and product roadmap; collaborating with cross-functional partners to define the customer journey, benefits, and improvement opportunities; coordinating with delivery partners on iterative discovery and product development; articulating the value proposition of the product to customers and stakeholders; and tracking and optimizing the performance of the product based on data analytics. The Product Manager 4 ensures strong risk management, procedures and controls, and compliance/legal/policy requirements are met at the solution- and portfolio-level. The Product Manager 4 partners internally to ensure revenue and balance performance, seamless delivery and service of these high-value banking solutions, and other outcomes are met in alignment with WIM's overall strategy and goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ongoing product management and strategic focus of BL&T's bank deposit solutions and online deposit capabilities.
  • Analyze and recommend product and marketing strategy based on assessment of segment needs, competitive environment, and industry trends across a range of dimensions including product positioning, features, performance, pricing and profitability, process, policy, and promotions.
  • Develop business cases, business requirements, and analyze risk/compliance and servicing impacts as part of prioritizing and architecting new business opportunities.
  • Ensure products and programs adhere to compliance/legal regulations and policies.
  • Define product strategy, roadmaps, and execute as the business owner for key product areas.
  • Lead business and operational planning, fostering market-leading and customer-centric innovation, prioritizing product initiatives and coordinating on the evaluation, deployment, implementation and management of current and future products.
  • Define and measure key business metrics to track and optimize customer and business value.
  • Identify product/portfolio/project-related risks, impacts and issues, document as appropriate, and then raise visibility and resolve in accordance with policy.
  • Lead project teams related to BL&T Core Banking's deposit solutions.
  • Lead working sessions and perform individual research to document new or revised processes and procedures, as well as updating related collateral/documentation.
  • Lead working sessions with Control and Compliance partners, Product Managers, and other partners as needed in Operations, Service, Risk, and other areas to scope and resolve SHRP issues.
  • Establish programs for enhancements and/or new products/services including identification of market segments, product positioning, pricing, and profitability.
  • Establish marketing strategy based on assessment of competitive environment, customer requirements, and new opportunities.

Provide product-related support to Wealth Management Banking, including support of best practices in products, pricing, processes, and policies.

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

NC-Charlotte: Min: $86,800 Mid: $124,000 Max: $161,200

MO-Saint Louis: Min: $86,800 Mid: $124,000 Max: $161,200

MN-Minneapolis: Min: $86,800 Mid: $124,000 Max: $161,200

IA-Des Moines: Min: $86,800 Mid: $124,000 Max: $161,200

CA-SF-Financial District: Min: $104,200 Mid: $148,800 Max: $193,400

Salary range is determined by location of the job.

May be considered for a discretionary bonus.



Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Product management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery or agile product owner



Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
  • Experience analyzing, interpreting and presenting results to management
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services and investment product management/marketing
