We are seeking a Business Development Representative to focus on lead generation to grow our Managed Services practice area.

What you'd be doing:

  • Work closely with the Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Infrastructure & Cloud Services, and Marketing Coordinator to understand and create sales campaigns
  • Sales prospecting and new business development using Salesforce, LinkedIn, and Zoom Info
  • Contact potential clients via email or cold-calling to set up initial appointments, both in-person and virtual
  • Work closely with the Zirous Project Management team


Location: This position has the ability to work in a hybrid model with both work from home (remote) days, as well as on-site days at the West Des Moines, IA office each week. Zirous offers a flexible schedule so that you can work to meet client needs and your personal needs.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of lead generation and cold calling sales experience preferred
  • Highly preferred 1+ years of professional work experience selling technical services, including managed services
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical ability, and good judgment
  • The ability to work effectively with clients and staff
  • Bachelor's degree in Executive Leadership, Sales Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional work experience
  • Preference will be given to candidates who possess technology sales experience
