Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) provides financial services to 21 million retail bank households and three million small business customers through approximately 4,900 retail branches, 17 customer service centers, and approximately 13,000 ATMs in 36 states and the District of Columbia. We serve and help individuals and families in many aspects of their lives, helping them buy homes, open first bank and savings accounts, buy cars to get to and from work or school, and start or grow small businesses. CSBB Operations delivers a diverse set of foundational operational and contact center services for the enterprise and to consumer, small business, and wholesale customers, providing stability, scalability, and security for Wells Fargo. Services include deposits, payments and ATM operations, global fraud and claims, account reconciliation, wire transfers, cash vault and lockbox services, print and image services, unclaimed property processing, legal order processing, estate care, and voice, email, chat, and social media services for consumer and small business customers. Divisions include ATM Strategy and Vendor Solutions; Business Planning and Transformation; Customer Excellence, Controls and Enablement; Customer Service; Fraud and Claims Management; Retail Core Operations; and Workforce Management, Capacity Planning and Productivity Analytics.

As a project management manager in the Consumer and Small Business Banking Group Portfolio Delivery (GPD) team, you'll be part of a growing team of project management professionals serving the Branch Banking and Affluent Growth Strategy team.

As a member of our leadership team, you'll be leading, managing and coaching project management professionals including program managers, project managers, and project coordinators engaged in programs and projects that have substantial impacts across Branch Banking. In addition, you will be leading some of your team through Agile Transformation as we move to products and continue with some programs in 2022.

Expectations include:

  • Strong relationship building skills, as role is responsible for nurturing ongoing/long-term partnerships with team and partners.
  • Additionally, role is accountable for providing considerable contributions related to strategic initiatives and ensuring aligned with Enterprise Program and Project Management policy and/or Enterprise Change Management Policy (ECM) methodology
  • Previous experience in leading an Agile approach
  • Requires the ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to be proactive and lead by example with high energy, transparency, strategic consulting skills and skilled relationship management.

As an Employee Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically, you will:

  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, project delivery, project methodologies, digital product/program management, strategic planning or implementation
  • 5+ years of leadership experience

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to think strategically, implement, and deliver business objectives
  • Ability to track and monitor project progress, identify project and process gaps, recommend controls and communicate progress to business leaders
  • Ability to research, compile, and present critical operational data in executive summaries
  • Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
  • Financial industry experience
  • 2+ years of Agile experience
