Job description

Will assist the Human Resources Manager and Leadership in recruitment and with the successful placement of candidates

Will lead and coordinate recruitment and interview efforts, including internal job postings, external job postings, coordinating and creating scheduling for interviews, registering and attending job fairs, etc.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field not required but preferred.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in Recruiting, preferably hourly positions in manufacturing or automotive and some salaried positions

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the recruiting activities of direct hire team members to support plant and program requirements. This may include advertising, scheduling, interviewing, and assisting if needed with post-offer screening and scheduling orientation. Ensures the process is followed in a timely and effective manner (requisitions, postings internal/external, candidate review, scheduling, reference checks, offer letters, rejection emails, follow-up, etc.).

Conducts interviews covering a number of areas such as Background, Education, Experience, Job Related Questions, in a professional manner.

Reserve the use of rooms and/or buildings both in and outside of the plant.

Prepare and coordinate activities involving Career/Job Fairs when needed.

Assist HR Team in administering on boarding activities.

Responsible for candidate tracking.

Assist in administering in ADP, PeopleSoft, and both internal and external job posting systems/programs, ensuring it is kept up-to-date and sending out communications in a timely manner.

Utilize social media sites such as Indeed, LinkedIn, etc. to recruit candidates.

Coordinate with Corporate Resources as needed for hiring events.

Participate and assist with Company sponsored social events.

Maintain plant job descriptions when needed.

Work with the Human Resources Manager to execute projects when required.

Must be capable of working under pressure with short deadlines.
