Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Technical management of programs from conception through design and into production. Responsible for monitoring system design integration effort includes electrical, optical and mechanical design activities to assure compliance with specification requirements. Customer interface including the composition and presentation of design reviews. Development and maintenance of project budgets and schedules and the establishment of program priorities and objectives.

Essential Functions of the role include but are not limied to:

Review of electrical and mechanical design for compliance with specification

Develop and maintain project schedules

Prepare estimates to complete projections

Review of specifications and statements of work

Maintain power supply design guidelines

Develop, prepare, and present design reviews

Responsible for technical interface with customers

Review and approval of ECR and ECN documents and processes for production

Generate test plans and procedures for engineering phase of programs

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
BS in Electrical Engineering or related field. MS preferred.

8 or more years experience in a progressively responsible Project Engineer role or related experience.

Ability to interface well with all levels within the organization.

Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills.

Good conceptual design abilities.

Ability to multi-task
