Our Payments Implementation Coordinator supports consistent, timely and quality execution of payment related projects. This position is part of the Payments Operations team and has a vital role to deliver impact by project managing implementations to maintain vendor partnerships and optimize utilization of third party products and services.

What You Will Be Doing

• Liaise with internal and external project team members to guide and drive the project towards the best comprehensive payment solution.
• Communicate and manage internal and external implementation requirements and expectations.
• Coordinate discovery and training for internal teams to facilitate knowledge of vendor products and services. (build rapport with vendor and projects already initiated and support the project and maintain the partnership between internal team and vendor).
• Planning, testing, roadblocks, anything deviating from original plans communicate.
• Maintain project timelines in order to achieve platform milestones.
• Work collaboratively with the designated cross functional team(s) to maximize platform utilization.
• Document, maintain and communicate implementation status, including potential issues or concerns.
• Create any required supporting documents for internal teams such as FAQs or industry best practices specific to the vendor product or service.
• Maintain expert knowledge of vendor products and services through training and self-study.
• Project examples: setup a mobile wallet for our customers. Relooking at business logic rules: when to take a payment from a customer. How we use our vendors and if any change coordinator with vendor any changes.
  

What You Will Need

• Exceptional understanding of payments workflow and payment/banking products
• Understanding of ACH, Debit Card, Credit Card, Faster Payment and other payment methodologies (back off processing experience needed)
• 3+ years of experience at a financial institution
• Client facing experience
• Project management experience
• Excellent time management, organization and communication skills
• Experience working with cross functional and virtual teams
• Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent professional experience
