This core HR leadership role is responsible for providing, managing and implementing HR activities across the employee life cycle consistently with including Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Compensation Proposals, Development, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Off-boarding and Employee Retention.

This leadership role is responsible direct reports and supportsCVG Hub Operations Group for all shifts.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide guidance and counsel to business leaders throughout all phases of the change management life cycle (i.e structure changes and DHL cultural changes); influencing management and the leadership around the people agenda and maximize service management
- Act as consultant to your client groups and provide input on the HR implications of strategic and operational decisions and plans.
- Identifying HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans, translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Provide valuable input and expertise to your client groups in terms of employment legislation, policies and practices.
- Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and retention activities.
- Partner with the business leaders and leverage the COE to proactively identify recruitment needs and workforce planning strategy.
- Counsel and advise employee and managers on DHL policies and procedures.
- Manage and implement HR activities across the employee life cycle consistently with COE and Shared Services as follows: Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Salary Proposals, Development, CIS, Performance Management, Off-boarding and Employee Retention.
- Typically requires BS/BA and 8-10 years experience in related field, including at least 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of all relevant federal and state employment laws and regulations, including DOL, Wage and Hour, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, Workers' Compensation and other regulations with experience in providing support in employment ligation scenarios.
- Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness. Analyzes and resolves complex cross-functional issues.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to work in a matrix environment with Senior Management.
- Proven ability to interpret customer needs as well as negotiation and influence skills.
- Leadership skills must include collaboration, innovation and partnership.
- Able to cope under pressure with sometimes conflicting priorities.
- Experience with US Legislation.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to work in a complex environment, partnering with stakeholders at all levels.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to provide leadership & Senior HR Expertise coverage to multi-shift HR teams and Operations (this positoin will be multishift).
- Directly reports to Sr Director of Human Resources, CVG Hub.
