Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support sales leads, project submittals, price and contract negotiations and follow through to a successful product delivery and project closure
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure that requirements are met
  • Coordinate product production with Operations Team to ensure timely deliveries
  • Lead the analysis of trends in products and markets. Track activities of customers and competitors and communicate to the sales and technical teams on a regular basis including recommended strategic market targets.
  • Provide in-depth market, industry and competitive analysis and positioning and become competitor "expert" for all Shower Systems categories.
  • Work with Business Analyst to create pricing strategy for VP-Commercial to deliver on revenue and margin goals.
  • Assist the VP-Commercial, Business Analyst and Sales Leaders in developing accurate budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage Regulatory Compliance and Certification testing and co-ordination
  • Assist a needed with blueprint and CAD drawings

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline or commensurate business career experience.
  • 3+ years in Business Development Role and/or demonstrated experience developing a product or product line including end to end execution of product/market strategy
  • Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements
  • Knowledge of Solid Surface shower systems products and/or Building and Construction Materials and markets
  • Ability to use CAD software and read blueprints

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to read engineering/project plans and conduct take-off calculations and analysis
  • Demonstrated successful negotiation skills
  • Action-Oriented (Self-motivated), Strong self-managing capabilities, objectives/results-driven, possesses the ability to take initiative.
  • High energy with a competitive spirit
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation experience to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to travel as required (Domestic & International)
