Job Description

WestRock is looking for a progressive, creative, high-energy Regional Recruiter to support Hourly Recruiting for our Production / Manufacturing facilities within the Central Region US. This role is right for you if you want to be challenged to define, develop and foster the robust talent pipelines that will continue to fuel WestRock's growth. You'll be a Strategic Business Partner, Brand Ambassador, and Recruiting Leader all rolled into one!

The Regional Recruiter will support hourly recruiting across our business including but not limited to: Corrugated Container, Multi-Packaging Solutions, Merchandising & Display. You will work directly with hiring managers, applicants, & human resources. The Regional Recruiter will achieve recruiting objectives by sourcing and evaluating passive and active job seekers; managing the interview, debrief, & offer process. You will also be responsible for advising hiring managers of recruiting compliance and best practices.

Position Responsibilities

  • Driven and self-motivated with exceptional communication and follow up skills to recruit the best talent in the shortest time frame.
  • Manage full cycle recruiting process, as well as assist with the development of recruiting strategies, processes, and tools.
  • Develop and implement diverse sourcing strategies, including referral generation, position postings, direct sourcing, and traditional media sources, networking, government organizations, and job fairs.
  • Develop and maintain a pool of qualified and skilled candidates in advance of need.
  • Engage, screen, and interview qualified candidates to determine skill set and level of interest.
  • Facilitate interview process and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers and ensure that best hiring practices are adhered to.
  • Track candidates through the process to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • 2 years' experience working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Working proficiency with MS Office including Outlook and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Staffing/Recruiting agency experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Recruiting experience in a similar product line or a related manufacturing business
