Job description

Our client is a great company that provides a digital commerce platform that allows their customers to optimize key aspects of their business including sales, logistics, and financing. They are growing fast and looking to build a world class accounting function based in Louisville. The Factoring Analyst will have a key role in ensuring all transactions related to factoring clients are handled timely and accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze factoring agreements to determine amount due to the customer, and amount to be received from the customer's customer.
• Manage collection process to ensure timely payments.
• Research discrepancies and past due amounts.
• Maintain and monitor accounts receivable and cash receipt reports.
• Assist accounting manager in reconciling accounts each month.
• Work with internal teams including sales and accounting to resolve past due accounts and other customer issues.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in business related discipline.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable with exposure to factoring arrangements.
• Working knowledge of cash applications and collections processes.
• Enjoys working in a high energy, high change environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple IT systems.
• Proficient computer skills including MS. Office Suite.
• Problem solving skills, high attention to detail, strong organizational, oral & written communication skills.
