The American Addiction Centers Business Development department is proud to announce our opening for an energetic and experienced Outreach Associate.
The Outreach Associates are responsible for building relationships with qualified referral partners in an assigned territory, for the purpose of facilitating admissions to American Addiction Centers Treatment Programs.

YOU
Qualified candidates will identify, build, and maintain relationships with key referral partners and maintain a regular servicing schedule that organizes a balance of referral partner maintenance and new business development. You will manage client related communication and CRM remotely, via AAC provided smart phone and laptop.
The candidate we seek will have a general understanding of treatment modalities, levels of care, and industry best practices for treating substance use and co-occurring disorders. You will possess the ability to multi-task and enjoy being out in the community calling on healthcare constituents in an enthusiastic and genuine way and have strong problem- solving abilities in new situations daily.
This dynamic individual will have the ability to assist clinical teams with discharge planning - identifying and contacting appropriate facilities for transfer of care when needed.
With the understanding and knowledge of the addiction community this person will have an understanding of managed care and insurance- as it relates to mental health benefits-as a plus.
Our Outreach Associates have the unique skills and competency to communicate with people at all levels of the organization, including- executive management, patients, and external agencies.
Education/Experience:
- Four-year degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in addiction treatment marketing field.
- 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to travel through an area covering multiple states
- Technologically savvy
- Ability to create reports outlining weekly visits
- Knowledge of the substance abuse industry preferred
