Position Summary
The Human Resource Director is responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources function.
Essential Functions:
- Partners with leadership to develop strategic initiatives….
- Manages an efficient and effective recruitment effort for all bank positions…
- Manages and maintains compliance with all activities related to the employee life cycle…
- Complies with an maintains accurate and timely workforce reporting….
- Collaborates with hiring managers and leadership on workforce planning…
- Implements and manages the compensation and benefits programs including benefit plan design…
- Develops and administers personnel policies and procedures…
- Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, completion of mandated reports (e.g. EEO-1, ACA) and proper retention of records, reports, logs, etc..
Reviews company contract requirements as it pertains to employment laws as requested (e.g.AAP). Partners with legal counsel as needed/required….
- Ensures compliance with employment-based banking and finance regulations and completion of mandated reporting (e.g., BSA)….
- Manages and promotes and inclusive workforce…
- Manages and ensures accurate and timely payroll processing…
- Manages employee relations issues, conducts investigations, monitors and assists with coaching counseling and management training…
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures...
- Manages and maintains the annual performance evaluation process…
- Performs supervisory responsibilities and provides prompt feedback and coaching…
- Actively leads, participates in and attends recruiting, job fair, networking and other events, activities and opportunities as directed and in support of workforce engagement and community enrichment initiatives…
Primary Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred
- 7+ years of experience as a Human Resources Manage
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
- Prior banking experience providing HR to branch locations
- Knowledge of HRIS; payroll; recruitment, on-boarding, terminations, compensation and interpersonal, networking and community involvement
- Local travel among bank branches; occasional representation at community outreach events
