Recruiting Coordinator

An opportunity to join the HR department of one of Maine's largest and most comprehensive mental heath organizations! Sweetser is in search of a Recruiting Coordinator dedicated to providing a smooth and positive candidate experience. As a liaison between candidates, hiring managers and team members across the HR department, our ideal candidate will serve as an ambassador of Sweetser's mission, vision and values, by recruiting and onboarding those who wish to serve Maine's most vulnerable children and families.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Provide excellent customer service to all Sweetser employees and community partners.
* Track and manage candidate progress from first outreach through offer.
* Manage candidates, postings, and reporting through the applicant tracking system.
* Schedule and conduct prescreening interviews with prospective candidates to provide overview of positions, benefits, and the pre-employment process.
* Provide overall support to Recruitment Manager in managing organizational recruiting efforts and strategy.
* Coordinate and participate in recruiting events.
* Conduct references and background checks - review results with Recruiting Manager and Business Partner as appropriate.
* Assist with coverage of the HR phone line, e-email account, and HR desk coverage.
* Perform administrative tasks to support new hire processing and orientation process.
* Support the internal transfer process.
* Partner with hiring managers to create and modify requisitions
* Maintain and present accurate recruiting reports in partnership with Recruitment Manager and other HR Team members.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED required.

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must maintain a valid state driver's license.

EXPERIENCE:

* 1+ years of experience in a recruiting support role
* 3 years human resources, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
