8 Hour Days/Flex ( staff need to be available to 8:00, 8:15 team meeting )

Requirements:
The Patient Registrar is responsible for providing pre-registration, registration, and discharge services for patients in a variety of departments, clinics, etc. Overall functions include telephone utilization, insurance verification, chart preparation, and cash collection activities. Enter data into EPIC. Scans insurance and photos documents into EPIC. Pre-registration, registration and discharges patients. Schedules and pre-registers follow-up appointments. Answers telephones, prepares chart paperwork. Maintains a cooperative working relationship with patients, medical staff and general public. Responsible for entering referrals and patient authorizations into patient accounts for billing.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma and Some College. Degree preferred.
EPIC, OUTLOOK and Basic Microsoft Word)
1-2years in Healthcare preferred
Communication/Attention to detail/Customer service
