Terracon is growing, and we are hiring a Senior Project Manager to support our Property Condition Assessment practice in our Germantown, MD office. Our Facility Service Line is seeking senior professional with experience providing equity level Property Condition Assessments in accordance with ASTM E2018 and Facility Condition Assessments utilizing electronic field data collection software and devices. Our ideal candidate will specialize in building assessments, identifying deficiencies, and recommending repairs with associated cost. Experience with Facility Asset Management, Preventive Maintenance, Energy Auditing, Owner/Lender Construction representation, as well as, specialized credentials or knowledge of any building system, such as, Building Envelope, MEP, Fire and Life Safety, and ADA/FHAA is a plus. The purpose of this position is to support existing clients and the growth of Terracon's national Facilities Consulting Practice. Applicant must be able to use Microsoft Office software products, travel, physically perform necessary field site visits, and have strong writing and communication skills. Client deliverables range from reports of findings and recommendations to working with an AE team to develop restoration design documents and construction oversight/administration.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Participate on and lead teams in the performance of various facility assessments
- Prepare and review technical reports and participate in the development of other technical content in conformance with Terracon's quality and professional standards and policies.
- Participate in business development including establishing new clients, furthering relationships with existing clients, participating in professional organizations, and actively participating in the implementation of marketing strategies.
- Project management including establishing project teams, objectives, schedules, project-specific safety plans, and management of project deliverables.
- Develop scopes of service, establish project budgets, prepare proposals, and participate in client presentations.
- Supervise and mentor other project professionals
- Actively participate in technical and professional associations.
- Some travel should be expected depending on work load and project locations approximately 25%
- Bachelor's degree in facilities management, architecture, building science or related building field and 10+ years' experience in facility assessment. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 14 years' related experience.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
- Regional Travel will be required to cover territory area.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite of products.
- Consideration will favor those with related specialized credentials and experience including Facility Asset Management, Preventive Maintenance, Energy Auditing, Owner/Lender Construction representation, Building Enclosure, MEP, Fire and Life Safety, and ADA/FHAA.
