Job description

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager within Senior Communities.

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm

Core Responsibilities:

* Manages the waiting list and application process
* Conducts initial, interim and annual recertification's interviews and prepares paperwork for review
* Obtains and reviews required reports from the Enterprise Income Verification System (EIV)
* Maintains applicant and resident files, ensuring completeness and accuracy according to regulating agencies and ACC policies and procedures
* Assists in implementing all aspects of unit leasing in accordance with established policies
* Responds as appropriate with handling resident, family, and vendor requests and complaints
* Assists the Property Manager in monitoring the day-to-day operations of the building
* Prepares monthly newsletter
* Responsible for office supply inventory and ordering of supplies
* Assists with preparing invoices
* Maintains accurate records and prepares and submits required reports according to the established time schedules for ACC and funding agencies
* Implements policies, procedures and routines following established guidelines and at the direction of the Property Manager
* Oversees the distribution of rent statements and collection of related fee
* Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

* High school diploma
* Two years experience in the assisted housing industry
* Designation as a Certified Occupancy Specialist, Tax Credit Manager, or equivalent
* Experience in senior living and OneSite rental software is preferred
* Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
* A valid driver's license with no more than 3 points
