- Independently designing drug-like peptide molecules utilizing medicinal chemistry knowledge, including property-based optimization, and an understanding of ADME, pharmacokinetics and optimal physicochemical properties.
- Developing and implementing new methods to advance our peptide drug discovery efforts.
- Designing the chemical synthesis for peptides, peptide modifications and peptide conjugates (e.g. using solid phase peptide synthesis and peptide arrays.)
- Ensuring optimal interaction, communication and providing regular updates on project status to the program leads and leadership team.
- Triaging screening hits to identify progressible chemical matter.
- Managing internal and external resources towards the delivery of drug candidates.
Interested? For this position, you'll need the following education, experience, and skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in organic chemistry, chemical biology, medicinal chemistry, or related field with 5+ years of experience, preferably within the biopharma industry.
