Job description

We have a new opportunity for an up-and-coming Food and Beverage manager with events experience to manage the service team at a beautiful private country club, in Hudson, MA. This private year-round country club was established in 2000. The Club has an active membership of 350 Members with an average age of 45. The 18 Hole Robert Trent Jones designed golf course hosts 18,00 rounds of golf per season with a top-notch PGA staff and pro shop. The Clubhouse offers a full range of amenities including several casual and formal dining rooms, function space for 275+ people, an outdoor pool with poolside dining, men's & women's locker rooms and first-class workout/fitness facilities. The Club does $1.2mm in Dining Room sales and an additional $800K in banquet and event sales.

Candidates should have a strong events and service background with the ability to manage a multitude of tasks during a busy season. The club hosts weddings, tournaments and bar/bat mitzva events.

The Club offers a strong benefits package with a salary of $65-70K BOE.

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

· The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for driving the highest level of service and operational aspects of hospitality within the company.

· Provides the highest-quality hospitality experiences within Restaurant and Banquet departments

· Ability to create and run service trainings for all FOH team members

· Hiring and training of FOH team members

· Maintain the integrity, consistency, and efficiency of all food & beverage offerings and service points

· Beverage Inventory management

· Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas

· Maintain the visual appeal of all public spaces

· Manage scheduling of Waitstaff and Bartenders

· Responsible for proper opening and closing procedures of property

Candidate Qualifications:

· The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive management experience with Restaurant, Banquet and Bar experience.

· Prior Experience as a Restaurant/Banquet Manager, Dining Room Manager or Bar Manager etc.

· Minimum of 4 years' experience in a front of the house managerial role

· Fundamental understanding of team training

· POS systems, Jonas experience a plus

· Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency,

· Beverage knowledge and procurement
