About the Position:
This position affords you the opportunity to apply your Learning and Talent Development experience and skills to help our clients solve business challenges, ranging from complex to everyday, across a wide spectrum of business and industry. You will be collaborating on building solutions with key stakeholders at both the enterprise and business unit levels. If you have enjoyed aligning training, consulting, and coaching solutions with the strategic objectives of a single entity, this role allows you to dig in with multiple clients, each with their own unique challenges, strategies, and requirements - new challenges for you with each opportunity.
Role and Responsibilities of the Position:
- Effectively evaluate clients' business challenges, opportunities, and constraints related to talent development.
- Develop comprehensive solutions including training, advisory consulting, coaching, and assessments to executives and other key personnel, including enterprise HR leaders, business leaders, and technical leaders.
- Develop client-specific strategic plans to identify new business opportunities with new clients and to expand our scope of services within our existing client portfolio.
- Write proposals and serve as project manager of proposal responses ensuring timely and high-quality responses.
- Prepare and deliver high quality presentations to potential new clients and stakeholders, including new accounts and new business units within our existing client portfolio.
- Establish and grow relationships with clients from a variety of industries and across a broad geography.
- Work effectively across the sales lifecycle including prospecting, building relationships, identifying opportunities, managing complex sales cycles, and managing large accounts.
- Develop, manage, and communicate realistic opportunity pipelines.
- Create and manage a list of sales leads based on the company's target client profile.
- Serve as primary relationship manager to clients to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications We Desire:
- A bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as Business Administration, Training and Development, Organizational Development, Instructional Technology, Education, or Human Resources; or equivalent level of competence achieved through experience and related training.
- 7+ years of experience developing training solutions for large organizations as either an internal or external stakeholder or both.
- Knowledge and experience of training and organizational development theories, techniques, policies, procedures, and practices
- Candidates must show proven success selling or acquiring training and consulting solutions to executives and diverse buying influences in medium and large-scale enterprises.
- Demonstrable experience establishing and executing on a sales action plan is critical, along with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously, working effectively with limited supervision.
- Excellent project and time management skills along with superior presentation and communication skills for in person, telephone, and virtual meetings.
- Formal and professional writing skills for diverse audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills to successfully work with CEG clients, partners, and colleagues
- Experience in one or more of CEG's practice areas: Leadership and Management, DE&I, Project Management, Business Process Management, Agile, and Business Analysis
- Accomplished in using Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and Zoom, as well as knowledgeable in the functionality of virtual training platforms and learning management systems.
- Relationship management including the ability to collaborate, communicate and influence equally well within all levels.
