Job description
This position reports to the Senior Manager Sales Force Effectiveness, within the US Sales Operations team, and will play a leadership role in providing business operations support to the Sports Medicine and ENT franchise.
The US Sales Operations team works in close collaboration with the extended Sales organization and is responsible for the development of frameworks, processes and systems that will further improve our effectiveness in territory management, segmentation & targeting, business/account planning and customer relationship management (CRM) implementation.
We are seeking an individual with strong leadership skills who has a passion for working with and supporting a high performing sales organization. The Sales Operations Team Lead will have responsibility for front-end components of the sales cycle; including Roster & Territory Management, Customer Master and Alignment, and the execution of our CRM strategy in collaboration with Sales & Sales Operations leadership. This individual will play a leadership role in launching and maintaining our new territory management tool by working both internally and externally with our vendor.
Interested individuals must have experience working with master data management (both employee and customer); must have a passion for process improvement; must enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment, and must have proven experience working in a Sales Operations role within a large Sales organization. Direct interactions with the Field Sales organization will be a key part of the role, so good oral and written communication and presentation skills are also needed
II. Territory Management Process (40%)
a) Partner internally and externally to fully configure and launch the new Territory Management & Territory Optimization tool; including User Acceptance Testing, engagement with vendor, and coordination with internal partners.
b) Partner with Product Owner to launch and deliver new tool to the 800+ person Sales organization.
c) Review and refine business rules and enhancements within the tool.
d) Ongoing Ownership of the overall territory management process; including coordination of employee roster, customer master management, workflow, and integration efforts.
III. Execution of Sales Framework - Sports Medicine & ENT CRM (40%)
a) Collaborate with Sales and Sales Operations teams to understand the sales framework for Sports Medicine & ENT (i.e. Beacon Process); and continue to drive adoption and enhancements of the tool.
b) Deliver Customer Segmentation strategy by partnering with Sales Operations Analyst to utilize new Customer Master framework coupled with external market datasets.
c) Partner with CRM Sales Analyst in support of driving Beacon sales process; create consistency in tracking and delivery of results/reports, manage new projects and enhancements to completion, assist with triage as needed.
IV. Marketing Support (15%)
a) Collaborate with Global & Commercial Marketing teams to support specific programs and initiatives across Sports Medicine & ENT Franchise; e.g. new product launches, contests, campaigns
b) Partner with CRM Sales Analyst to support Leads and Campaigns within CRM; report on trending and effectiveness of programs
c) Support market-level analysis across Sports Med and ENT, leveraging external data as needed
d) Manage ad hoc data needs and reporting requests/analyses.

EDUCATION REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, IT, or Marketing required
High Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
