This role offers a hybrid work option for days remote and onsite at our Andover or Methuen, MA locations.

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Buyer who can grow with an industry leader and help to enhance a winning team. You will be an intricate part of a fast-paced Purchasing group supporting our manufacturing teams and meeting our customer needs. We are looking for new ways to:

  • Communicate regularly and manage the supply based to avoid and resolve any delivery, quality or pricing issues.
  • Work with the Purchasing/Commodity Managers to help develop suppliers in inventory management, Kanban and lean principles.
  • Proactively drive the supply chain to supply and exceed our production floors needs and eliminate any interruptions.
  • Juggle multiple tasks to complete daily/weekly/Monthly Purchasing goals and metrics.

What you will bring to the team, along with your creativity:

  • BS/BA with 5 years+ experience in Purchasing, materials management or commodity management.
  • A talent and motivation to drive our supply chain to meet exceptional demands and growth.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Skilled in written/verbal communications and negotiation techniques with internal and external customers.
  • The ability to solve problems and think outside the box to solve complex supply issues.
  • Experience in Machining, sheet metal and electromechanical assemblies.
  • Experience with ECOs and implementing ECO directives.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
