The following position is being recruited for on behalf of American Flowform and Machining, owned by Consolidated Boring.

American Flowform and Machining is currently seeking a Business Development Manager. As a Business Development Manager, you will oversee the development of new business opportunities into qualified production components across a portfolio of domestic and international customers with the objective of growing American Flowform and Machining in new and existing markets.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Analyze potential markets for growth and development opportunities

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives in alignment with the business plan for long term growth

  • Identify and develop new customers to build strategic partnerships

  • Make sales calls and generating new business

  • Provide sales forecasts and report sales opportunities and activities

  • Interface closely with the Sales, Engineering Design, Technical, Production Planning and Operations teams in the Operating facilities

  • Ensure overall customer satisfaction

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business-related field with technical aptitude preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development selling finished components or near-net shape components


Skills:

  • Ability to travel national and internationally

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical skills to analyze and resolve difficult problems effectively and implement long term solutions

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
