CNE provides comprehensive IT asset management services for organizations and corporations. In this business line, we provide value-added services including logistics management, equipment refurbishment, data erasure, product re-marketing, sales, revenue sharing and reporting for our clients. We are headquartered in Peabody, MA with business operations around the world, including Asia, India, Europe, and Latin America.
CNE Direct, Inc. is also engaged in the business of wholesale distribution of technology equipment including computers, computer components and peripherals, networking and telecommunications hardware and other electronic products. We obtain supply on consignment and through direct purchase from end users, large manufacturers (OEM's) and distributers who find themselves with excess inventory. We re-sell those products to end users, other OEM's, distributers, resellers, and brokers worldwide.
Position Description:
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for using their knowledge of third-party cloud-based SaaS platform implementations and business processes to help companies maximize productivity and communication. This role will be collaborating with all internal departments and the SaaS vendor to determine which business processes need optimization and how those processes can translate into an IT flow chart. Business Systems Analysts will do strategic system analysis of business and user needs, creating business cases, documenting requirements, creating functional specifications, maintaining change documentation, creating, and coordinating communications and acting as an implementation coordinator for SaaS releases affecting the assigned business process area. They will also help train team members on SaaS updates and releases.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Analyze and evaluate all steps of current business processes within all departments.
- Understand the SaaS capabilities and business requirements, and drive standard and scalable solutions.
- Identify how current business processes can translated into IT flow charts that will map into our custom-configured SaaS subscription.
- Complete Business Process Mapping and gap analysis, project scoping, planning, and scheduling.
- Make recommendations for business process improvements that will help increase productivity and drive efficiencies in the business.
- Oversee all aspects related to the implementation stages of our SaaS platform, configuration updates and configuration bug fixes.
- Liaison with SaaS vendor on projects, timelines, updates, etc.
- Manages project deliverables through timelines and prioritization based on business needs.
- Conducts continuous analysis on internal user software needs and external customer software needs and communicates back to SaaS vendor.
- Participate in business requirements gathering, business requirements consultation, acceptance testing and implementation phases of the SaaS configuration life cycle to ensure the execution is in line with business objectives and project scope.
- Supports quality assurance testing including bug fixes and enhancements.
- Creates process documentation and training material for SaaS implementation and updates in assigned business areas.
- Provides SaaS and business process implementation updates through PowerPoint presentation to Executive Management on an established frequency.
- Proactively communicates and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Other special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Work Experience: Your background and qualification can be many, but most important you have a drive that exceeds the average and seeks to make a difference.
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Mathematics, Operations Management Information Systems, or related degree.
- 3 - 5 years of experience analyzing business requirements, researching solutions, and driving system and process implementations.
- Ability to create process flows and IT flow charts.
- Experience with ERP systems and implementation.
- Knowledge of navigating requirements across multiple IT systems and an understanding of IT infrastructure.
- Experience with self-managing projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, including v-lookups; pivot tables; compare functions, conditional formatting; power query, etc.
- Ability to handle complex issues without losing the overview.
- Detail-oriented with success implementing solutions to create optimal efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills both orally and written.
- Work well independently and as a team member.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse individuals.
