The role

Reporting to Suffolk's Talent Acquisition Manager, this role would support recruitment for both operational and non-operational positions across multiple business lines. The role involves, but is not limited to, sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates for hire, influencing, motivating and maintaining the interest of strong candidates, managing "Best in Class" candidate experiences.

Responsibilities

* Source, identify, prescreen and qualify candidates prior to face to face interviews
* Present an accurate description of the position as well as company history to prospective candidates
* Update candidate records via company Applicant Tracking System (iCims) to maintain current accurate information
* Build & maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities
* Summarize weekly, the status of all "open" searches assigned to you
* Develop and manage strong relationships with candidates
* As part of Suffolk's People & Culture team, provide a "best in class" recruiting experience to all candidates

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree preferred
* 5-8 Years of recruiting experience is strongly preferred; construction industry experience preferred
* High sense of urgency
* Must be extremely detail-oriented
* Strong customer service, communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal and organization skills
* Previous experience with iCims ATS is a plus
* Preferred locations are Boston, New York, or Miami

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
