About the Position
Reporting to the Institutional Giving and Community Impact Coordinators and Director of Fund Development, the Corporate Giving Associate will assist in obtaining funding and investments from new and existing corporate partners to sustain and grow Community Life, capital, and resident-centered projects. An essential component of this role will be researching, coordinating and conducting outreach to external stakeholders and funders. The Corporate Giving Associate will also assist day-to-day Fund Development department operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Institutional Giving Coordinators and Director of Fund Development in daily tasks related to donor research, strategy, identification, cultivation and stewardship at national and regional levels to sustain and grow Community Life resident success programs and other resident-centered projects and investments.
- Develop and maintain strong internal and external communications and working relationships with other TCB departments and principals.
- Researching, writing and editing high-quality narrative for grant applications and funding proposals.
- Steward our current corporate donors with special communications, invitations, and personalized grant acknowledgements.
- Research potential new funders and identify strategic areas of alignment between their funding objectives and TCB's work.
- Supporting the fund development resource library and other processes, systems, tools and materials grant proposal development and department reporting.
- Efficient use of development tools, systems and outside resources to provide and gather information as needed from regional teams and corporate departments for grant proposals.
- Support continued development of new database tools such as Etapestry related to fund development cultivation, reporting and donor communications.
- Work across corporate departments to develop and provide training, materials, and access to fund development systems and processes
- Continue to coordinate efforts and maintain regular communications and processes with TCB colleagues in other departments, particularly the relationship management effort led by Development/Regions, to ensure that local and regional fund development strategies are executed with an awareness of existing investors, partners, and potential funders.

Education & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in nonprofit setting, or in a fundraising support role
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience with CRM software is a plus
- Bi-lingual is a plus
- Ability to engage with residents, colleagues, and external stakeholders at the local, regional, state, and national levels to obtain information and support fund development strategies and activities.
