Overview:
Under the direction of the Director of Revenue Operations, the Contract Billing Coordinator is primarily responsible for the monthly state contract billing and Day Hab Medicaid billing.

Responsibilities:
• Review incoming service delivery and billing forms for contract billing to ensure that information is correct and consistent with billing source requirements.
• Prepare monthly time sensitive contract billings for appropriate state offices according to contract specifications.
• Reconcile billing with internal accounting reports.
• Communicate with funding sources regarding billing/invoicing and payments.
• Monthly reconciliation of billings and reimbursements in accounting system.
• Problem solve/coordinate billing and/or payment discrepancies with program staff.
• Assist and support third party billing coordinator with any assigned tasks.
• Attend meeting and job appropriate trainings as required or as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform duties consistent with agency/program policies and procedures.
• Maintain and track authorizations for persons served in Day Habs.
• Monitor daily eligibility of persons served in Day Habs.
• Perform duties consistent with agency/program policies and procedures.
• Perform other related work duties as needed or as assigned by supervisor or designee.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Five Years of billing and office experience required. State Contract billing experienced preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Data entry experience required.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Must possess good organizational skills and be proficient in working with figures.
• Must be able to work well with others as well as independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively and deal tactfully with others.
