General Statement of Duties:

The Manager, Marketing and Digital Media will act as a creative professional providing a range of support as part of BAMSI's overall integrated marketing communications strategy. Reporting to the Director, Community and Staff Relations, this position will primarily focus on content creation, digital media management, and marketing strategies in line with the organization's brand, mission, and strategic plan.

Responsibilities:
• Manage written communications, direct production of content, and collect content for portals, websites, and internal use.
• Execute a variety of materials for internal and external marketing use, including brochures, sell sheets, email campaigns, and website banners and images.
• Oversee the creation and curation of content for internal and external newsletters.
• Create, write, and execute best-in-class marketing content, including dynamic landing pages, videos, whitepapers, website copy, and advertisements.
• Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website.
• Showcase organizations stories through use of video, photography and other multimedia platforms.
• Provides strategic input on ways to improve current practices and processes to assist with creating a more engaging and integrated social and digital strategy.
• Plans and executes social media program by creating and posting relevant content to target audiences and monitors and enhances performance.
• Follows emerging trends and best practices in digital, social media and other technologies, and incorporate them as appropriate into the BAMSI brand to create integrated marketing and fundraising campaigns with measurable results aimed at increasing engagement and philanthropic support.
• Responsible for executing social media campaigns including paid posts, social media campaigns from setting up, scheduling posts, execution, management, optimizations, and reporting
• Use social analytics to assess the efficacy of message, audience, and platform.
• Work collaboratively with key team members, departments, clients, and vendors to build strong content and digital advertising campaigns to best communicate brand stories and initiatives.
• Oversee the management of the master content calendar for all social media and digital properties
• Develop metrics for evaluation of BAMSI's marketing and communications efforts, improving performance, and measuring growth.
• Responsible for the planning, development, content, usability, implementation and overall performance of BAMSI's websites.
• Acts as consultant to internal teams and departments, making recommendations based on strategic insights and what makes an impact.
• Provide guidance for new tools and technologies to be incorporated to increase our digital marketing presence.
• Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
• At least (5) years of related experience in content creation, digital marketing, and social media
• Working knowledge of Wordpress
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Knowledge of creative applications such as Abobe CS, Canva, and Video Editing
• An understanding of digital analytics: Google; Facebook, etc.
• Demonstrated experience with art direction, video production, and photography

Superior interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate and build positive rapport with varied constituencies in a professional manner; clarity, professionalism, and diplomacy in written and oral communications skills.

Ability to apply sound judgment and responsible decision-making; tact and discretion is required to deal with highly confidential funder and prospect information.

Must be a detail-oriented self-starter who is comfortable working independently as well as part of a close-knit team that values creativity, a sense of humor, energy, and positivity.
